You need to be aware of the differences between traditional Chicago credit repair and an attorney-powered process. We’re not a disputing service (sending and re-sending disputes) like the majority of credit companies out there. But even more importantly, you need a professional company that isn’t trying to take your money without an reasonable expectation of actual results. At White Jacobs and Associates, you’ll discover that we’re completely open about what we expect to achieve after looking at a tri-merge credit report where we can analyze items from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Success comes from understanding the details, so this is why we offer a credit assessment and consultation free of charge. If we do not think we can help you, we won’t let you sign up for the program. The last thing we want to do is allow you to waste your money.
Let’s dive a bit deeper into the details. Do you know what is on your credit reports? We usually see general collections, late payments, charge-offs (delinquent accounts), medical collections, late payments on student loans, repossessions, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and more.
If your credit analyst decides you’re a good fit, we’ll begin to leverage existing consumer credit laws to delete the negative/inaccurate items from your credit report through our auditing process. The laws we utilize include (but are not limited to) the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA), and HIPPA laws.
You may be wondering how our auditing process works.
If a creditor cannot verify or prove an item on your credit history, then that item has to be deleted. Additionally, if creditors do not respond to our letters by the legal time limit (usually around 30 days), then the item must be removed. Common dispute letters are often disregarded, however, our escalated attorney-engaged letters, written with years of experience, regularly prompt a response. Creditors that cannot provide the validation we’re requesting are required to stop reporting that item. Once that happens, it should not show up on your credit report. As you can tell, credit repair is a tedious process which requires the right resources. Few companies have an in-house lawyer and an investigative research team to work on all the details.
You can plan many of life’s events. But many of them come unexpectedly. Careless financial decisions. Termination of employment. A family member passing away. Health issues. Student loan debt. Theft of identity. A bad divorce situation.
And then come the consequences. These life events can affect your credit score in a big way. A low credit score can deny you an approval for a home or mortgage, a refinance, a substantial purchase – or at a bare minimum – it will hurt your ability to get a decent interest rate on loans, credit cards, and various financial tools. A tiny increase in interest rates can cost you thousands of dollars long-term. You need to understand the urgency of the situation. Bad credit is costing you way too much money compared to the small investment you can make in credit restoration.
Six (6) months is the maximum length of our program. We frequently see clients finish much sooner. As soon as we start our first Round (learn more about our 4 Rounds here), it’s common to start seeing results in as little as 30-45 days thereafter. We have a lot of experience in looking at credit reports and determining the level of success you may achieve, so if you’d prefer a clearer picture of what to expect based on your specific situation, just give us a call. Take advantage of our free credit review and consultation. During the consultation, your credit analyst will design a game plan and give you a realistic timeline.
A good question you may be asking is … “What makes you different from other companies?”
An excellent question! We could talk about this at great length, but we will give you a short answer.
You can find hundreds of credit repair companies with an online search. Unfortunately, they all do the same thing – which is to send out disputes and charge you a monthly fee. Sending out dispute letters is something you could do yourself! These “disputing” companies don’t have urgency to get results because the longer you stay on their program, the more money they make! They DO NOT audit creditors like we do in our 3rd and 4th rounds. Auditing takes tremendous time and resources, so it takes a special kind of company to go through with that. And we have that. We have an in-house law firm, an investigative research team, and expert credit analysts to assist you through the whole credit restoration process.
